Radiesse

A product combining immediate volume replacement with collagen stimulation, suited to supporting the jawline, chin and areas needing firmness.

45 min

This procedure requires an assessment consultation first so we can plan it around your case.

Radiesse

Radiesse combines two properties: immediate volume replacement like a conventional filler, and gradual collagen stimulation like a biostimulator. That combination makes it a candidate for areas needing structural support rather than simple filling.

Where it excels

  • Jawline definition
  • Chin projection and profile
  • Deep folds that need support
  • The back of the hands
  • Mild skin laxity needing firmness

Why it is not used everywhere

Its gel is firm and white in colour, which makes it unsuitable for very superficial injection or for delicate areas such as the lips and immediate under-eye, where it may show or create irregularity. Choosing the right area is fundamental to a safe result.

A result in two phases

You notice a difference immediately after the session from the volume the product adds. The second phase follows gradually over weeks as collagen stimulation begins, and it is what gives the result its longevity.

What to know

Like Sculptra, Radiesse is not dissolvable with the hyaluronic acid enzyme. Careful planning and precise placement are therefore essential, and this is discussed with you before you agree to the session.

What you gain

  • Immediate volume replacement plus collagen stimulation
  • Structural support for the jawline and chin
  • A two-phase result that gives it longevity
  • Suited to the back of the hands and mild laxity
  • Careful area selection to keep the result safe
  • A candid explanation that it is not reversible

FAQ

How does it differ from ordinary filler?

Conventional filler replaces volume only and is reversible. Radiesse replaces volume and stimulates collagen together, but is not reversible. The choice depends on the area and goal, and we explain the difference before you decide.

Is it used in the lips?

No. Its firm consistency is unsuitable for lips or delicate superficial areas. For lips we use reversible hyaluronic acid filler.

How long does it last?

Usually 12 to 18 months, with the collagen-stimulating effect potentially extending beyond that. Duration varies by area and individual.

When does the full result appear?

Part of it is visible immediately after the session; the collagen-related part emerges gradually over the following weeks.
