Laser Teeth Whitening
Laser whitening uses a bleaching gel applied to the tooth surface and activated by laser light to accelerate the reaction. Results are visible in the same session, which is what sets it apart from home kits that take weeks.
Assessment before whitening
Not all discolouration has the same cause. Coffee and tea staining responds well, while discolouration from medication, an old injury or internal calcification responds less or needs a different approach. We give you a realistic expectation for your case before the session.
What whitening cannot lighten
Whitening works on natural teeth only. Fillings, crowns and veneers do not change shade, which matters if you have restorations at the front — a colour mismatch may appear afterwards and they may need replacing to match the new shade.
After the session
Temporary sensitivity to hot and cold is common and settles within one to three days. We recommend avoiding strongly staining food and drink for the first 48 hours to protect the result.

How many shades lighter will my teeth go?
It depends on the starting shade, the cause of staining and your enamel. Surface stains respond more than internal discolouration. We record your shade beforehand and explain what is realistic for your case.
Does whitening damage enamel?
Whitening performed under clinical supervision at approved concentrations does not weaken enamel. Temporary sensitivity afterwards is common and expected, and settles within a few days.
How long do the results last?
Largely down to your habits. Coffee, tea and smoking bring staining back faster. With good care and fewer staining agents, results typically last several months to over a year.
Can I whiten if I have front fillings?
Fillings do not change shade with whitening. If they are at the front, a colour mismatch may show afterwards and they may need replacing to match. We discuss this before starting.
