Consultation and review of medical history and medications

Golden PRP with Dermapen
A more concentrated plasma preparation with an additional processing step, applied after microneedling for cases needing stronger stimulation.
This procedure requires an assessment consultation first so we can plan it around your case.
Golden PRP with Dermapen
Golden plasma is also prepared from your own blood, but with an additional processing step aimed at a clearer preparation and a higher concentration of growth factors than conventional PRP. It is combined with Dermapen on the same principle: opening micro-channels so the preparation penetrates rather than sitting on the surface.
When it is recommended over standard PRP
Usually where stronger stimulation is needed — more pronounced acne scarring, a marked decline in elasticity, or a limited response to previous sessions. It is not automatically the better choice for everyone, and the practical difference is explained before you decide.
The session
A blood draw, plasma preparation with the additional steps, topical anaesthetic, a Dermapen session at a controlled depth, then application of the plasma. Total time is a little longer than the standard session because of the preparation stage.
Realistic expectations
Like all collagen-stimulating procedures, the result is cumulative, takes weeks to appear and needs a series to settle. A higher concentration may mean a better response in some cases, but it does not mean an immediate result.
The same contraindications as conventional PRP apply and are reviewed at consultation before your appointment.

FAQ
What is the real difference from standard PRP?
An additional preparation step aimed at a higher concentration of growth factors and a clearer preparation. Which suits you is decided after assessment; we do not recommend it simply because it costs more.
How many sessions do I need?
Usually 3 to 4 sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, then maintenance according to response.
Is the recovery longer?
Not materially different from standard PRP with Dermapen — redness and mild swelling for one to three days. It is the appointment itself that is longer, because of the preparation stage.
Is it suitable for the scalp?
It is used within hair-loss treatment plans, and suitability is determined after assessing the cause of the loss — not every type of hair loss responds to plasma.
