Clinical exam and 3D digital scan

Clear Aligners
A series of digitally designed clear trays that move the teeth gradually — virtually invisible and removable for eating and brushing.
This procedure requires an assessment consultation first so we can plan it around your case.
Clear Aligners
Instead of brackets and wires, clear aligner treatment uses a series of trays made specifically for your teeth. Each tray moves the teeth one small step, and you progress to the next every one to two weeks according to the plan.
Digital planning before you start
We begin with a 3D digital scan of your teeth, from which the full movement plan is built. That means you see a simulation of the expected result, the number of trays and the duration before treatment begins.
Who is it suitable for?
It suits mild to moderate crowding, spacing and some bite issues. Complex cases may need fixed braces or a combination of both, and we will tell you plainly after the assessment.
Compliance is the deciding factor
Aligners only work while they are being worn. Results depend on wearing them 20 to 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, to drink anything other than water, and to brush.

FAQ
Are clear aligners as effective as metal braces?
For mild to moderate cases the results are very comparable. Complex cases requiring substantial root movement are still better served by fixed braces. We give you a realistic assessment of your case before you decide.
How many hours a day must I wear them?
Between 20 and 22 hours. Remove them only to eat, to drink anything other than water, and to brush. Wearing them less extends treatment and affects the result.
Will they affect my speech?
You may notice a slight difference in pronunciation for the first few days with each new tray. It settles quickly as the tongue adapts.
How do I clean the trays?
With lukewarm water and a soft brush. Avoid hot water, which can distort the tray. We go through the full daily routine when we hand them over.
